Dylan’s family is comprised of more than just his blood family. Dylan’s father and mother, Kevin and Melanie, and sister, Madison are his immediate family. Madison worshiped her big brother, who was 3 years older, and spent her days helping with his caretaking, talking to him and doing whatever it took to make him feel good. Dylan’s extended family includes his grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins.

It is also important to include specific family members who may, or may not have been, blood relatives but who were extremely close to Dylan through the years including Nana (Pat Bridge), Ann Edwards who spent most of his life helping take care of him, and Deana Derksen and Carla Lagore who also assisted in Dylan’s care. Included in Dylan’s extended family are his two other “sisters”, Georgia and Jewel Lagore. Georgia and Jewel have been an integral part of Dylan’s life, as well as Madison’s, since birth and it is important to note their contribution to Dylan’s life as well.
